View Full Version : Mejaye returns as MEJAYNE2, with more threats!

Yes, newest gossip is that Jayney got her hand slapped for being addicted to message boards!

Here she is, returning after she deleted her old account:

http://p202.ezboard.com/fthecarwashfrm2.showMessage?topicID=782.topic

Chopsbuster says:

Hep, it is Mejayne. She retired her previous account. The IP's are a perfect match.

And here, at TUS, are her mean and threatening statements:

http://p103.ezboard.com/ftheusualsuspects17564frm33.showMessageRange?topic ID=19.topic&start=49&stop=79

OK...so I'm curious, kris, even though this isn't my conversation, and I may--probably--will regret entering it.

You're bothered that Hep expressed her joy at TRB closing. It hurt you to be lumped in with that group.

She was chomping at the bit so hard, that she just HAD to sign up with a new account after deleting it.

Have you considered...even once...how it feels to be me (or one of the many), stalked and harassed and lied about and called names--for more than 2 years now, in my case--by a person that *you* often express admiration for?

Funny ting is. I just tell the TRUTH about Jayne, and I have never stalked her. Not one time have I stalked her. Not once.

She's hurting.

I'd say you've *earned* your place in that group--with every post you made at that board, with every time you've turned a blind eye to what ross does, with every time you've laughed or joked about the nastiness and lies posted there.

It hurts ME to see you at that board...because at one time we were, if not great friends, then at least friendly. But then, you've been hurting me for a long time.

Poor thing.

She hurts when she's not stalking me. When she clicks on my site, she gets happy.

And...hell, yeah...you think Hep's been happy? It's nothing compared to the happy dance I've been doing for days. Heck, I still stop by once or twice a day just to look at the locked down page and do a little jig on the grave.

Click click. Stalker.

Even worse, I'm anticipating the day when the new board is banished. I feel sorry for all the ones that gave money, but I'm soooooooo happy that it's out from under ezboard's protection and free game for anyone on that want to take a shot.

I'm waiting for justice, and I can see it coming.

We will NOT be shut down. We will contuinue to bring YOU, my readers, the finest in gossip based entertainment! For many many years to come.

And, last but not least, her "threat" to me

The incident has been reported. The relevant posts have been captured. The paperwork has been filed. Your name, addr, phone, etc. is now on a few lists, slowing making it's way thru the system. Enjoy.

The incident where I told her we could have coffee together.

Are ya skeered, Ross?

Why did she delete the old account?

rossshow
08-06-2005, 05:16 PM
Kris lets her have it with both barrells, starting with a schooling in HISTORY:

Maybe a little history lesson to begin with? I was one of the first to be roasted when TRB opened up. I was roasted and toasted for a long long time for taking a stand that many OAI boardies disagreed with. I dished my fair share in return, too. The difference between you and me is in our delivery, perhaps. I was never banned.

Second of all, *you* are not the one being stalked and harassed, Jayne. This whole thing is not about *you*. You are what could easily be termed collateral damage. Please don't lessen the impact of all this mess on Hep by putting yourself in the front seat. You aren't even secondary to it, even though you are quite adept at fanning the flames when you choose to do so.

Then Kris says some nice stuff about me and The Ross Show.

THEN:

We all earn our place on these boards, Jayne. You earned yours, and I earned mine.

I earned my place in that group by not spouting bullshit and innuendo and coverups.

I earned it by coming through the fire it was when TRB first opened and keeping my self respect until the fire was over...and even continuing to read and occasionally post until I felt absolved enough to participate fully.

I have not turned a blind eye, and have been one of the few who spoke out and questioned why the constant dogging.

I'm not sure why it should hurt you. We were never friends, Jayne. We posted together in a cordial manner, but that is as far as I would take it. I'm not really sure how to explain my reticence to get close to you, other than you just seemed to know more about everything than I ever will. I prefer my friendships to be more of a give and take, and there doesn't seem to be much you can learn from me. I'm sorry that my choice of where to post hurts you, but it really has nothing at all to do with you.

I'm glad you got to have your happy dance. Maybe you are right about all of this too, and the new board will go down in flames and you can dance yourself to sickness. Or maybe not. However it goes down, I have no doubt you'll be just fine in the end run

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I’ll be watching you

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I’ll be watching you

Oh, can’t you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches
With every step you take

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I’ll be watching you

Since you’ve gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night I can only see your face
I look around but it’s you I can’t replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace
I keep crying baby, baby, please...

Oh, can’t you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches
With every breath you take

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I’ll be watching you

Every move you make

It makes me so angry when Hep thinks she knows all about how a women should stand up to an abuser with a get in your face attitude with yelling and screaming. It hasn't worked for her on these boards, and it dosn't work in a RL abusive relationship. This doesn't mean you lay down and take it. You get out to get control! Which is why I've said so many times she should leave this community of boards.

Yes, this is one time I can say I'm an expert in this area. It was my speciality when I was a paralegal. I counseled, prepared court documents, accompanied woman to court (sometimes with police escort), got them into safe houses. I spoke at seminars at DMV centers throughtout CA.

You do not fight back with words, that does not show strength, and can get you killed. That being said, leaving is also the most dangerous period. Think of the big cases in the news. Leaving shows strength, but it takes planning in RL, on the boards you can just disappear.

I can tell you PH, that the community is very good about bringing newbies--or, at least, this newbie--up to speed on the history.

It is good to have the input, but, ultimately, I have to make up my own mind and make my own mistakes. Even so, because of the time and effort community members have invested in me, I do not walk blindly into situations, and for that I am very grateful.

I'd like to know why people are being told to go elsewhere for gossiping and scuffling in a forum that bills itself thus:

Walter Winchell's Broadcast
Moderator: WalterWinchell
The tougher stuff: Juicy boardie-land gossip and scuffles.

I'd ask over at TUS, but the reply window goes haywire due to the number of smilies that want to load.

Gamma & Wench? What's the deal? What's "okay" juicy and what's "okay" scuffling?

GammaWaif
08-07-2005, 01:26 PM
I think Wench mispoke and corrected herself, subsequently. . .she edited because of the accusations being tossed about, which we couldn't prove and which were dangerously damning and came from some other board, and that board just 86ed the threads.

What we're really trying to avoid is wholesale imported board wars, such as the Texas Icehole Massacre and the neverending OAI stuff.

That's it, really.

I'm trying to get that emote business sorted out, Fop. We'll see if I'm successful. I'll let you know.

Kris, I haven't had a chance to get over to TUS to read everything yet, but I just wanted to say that I enjoy your posts very much. You're friendly and level-headed and fun.

Your history post made a lot of sense. If you go onto a board all gangbusters and try to stir everyone into a frenzy, you won't make many friends. I stayed out of the Hep talk for a long time. It was that vile post about Oddy that finally made me open my mouth.

I have to strongly agree about Kris's posts of late. I find it strange that even though I have seen Kris around for years that I didn't have much interaction or any mental notes about Kris. I can appreciate that, Gamma, but without a "Now Hear This" in conjunction with 'Walter's' current byline, you're going to get a lot more stuff you consider OTL, and find yourself having to waste time moderating situations that could be avoided with a simply stated guideline.

I'll be glad if/when you get that emoticon business worked out; I tried to let them all load this morning but after about one minute my system went crazy again and I had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to make it stop (and shut down WINDOWS).

From the TUS guidelines:

Fighting will be isolated in the hidden and password-protected Raging Bull forum. As soon as a spat triggers an Admin’s OTL response, it will be moved to Raging Bull. The principal players will have immediate admittance. The audience must “buy tickets.” Buying a ticket means you PM an Admin and request admittance to the fight.

Well, to be fair to Zilvy, Deb, TT suggested I needed to get a grip, so that is taking a swipe at the person of me.

Just wanted to make that point.

As to TT's remarks about the rules, well, I've noticed that people who have grips and senses of humor are able to find the rule hilarious. *neener*

Not as long as 'Walter' is inviting "Boardie-land gossip and scuffles".

JMO...

This is exactly what I couldn't seem to get anyone to understand, things would pop up there, and when they shut down the very thing they had invited to happen at their board ("boardy land scuffles", which equals "nasty ass board wars flaring up"), instead of everyone "buying tickets" (where is the rolly eyes when you need them) they just all came to the icehole because at the time we allowed it, but we didn't "invite" it. Water under the bridge now.

As pointed out already, them are some strange rules.

Stupid, rude, harsh....all opinions, and why we come here....because we can express them!

I didn't go to the fighting arena, so I didn't get to see the color of the room. I may not have agreed with the rule, but I figured it was a new board, and they were trying something different. Each board owner has a right to run a board as they wish. It may not work, and may even keep posters away. I think we're all spoiled because we've been posting at TRB for so long and we're not used to rules. It's why we always end up back here, isn't it?

(bolding mine) That was exactly what struck me, Microbes. Just be careful how you express your opinion of the rules - there's a one-woman Evinrude crusade goin' on here.

Gamma Waif - if I offended you with my "get a grip" comment (I tell my kids that all the time), and you took it as an attack, then I do apologize. It was my opinion, and my opinion, only. I thought we were allowed to express them here. If your comment about people who have a grip and a sense of humor finding your rules hilarious is true, then I guess I have the tightest grip and the best sense of humor of anyone here on The Ross Show. You set yourself up for some pay back.

Then you made the statement, "I've never had a problem telling Zilvy when she was over the line at the old TRB" How true that was, for 3 years or more you've had no problem interjecting yourself into how I should behave! Maybe Ross should set up a committee to decide what is over the line, what is rude, and what can be brought to the TRB. So many times a few posters will jump into a thread to state they are not interested in a subject that is being discussed and demand that it be taken to another board or that something is over the line or that something is rude. In the case of something that is brought here, often it's Ross himself who has brought it here.

I know, I know it's that "six year thing" that gives those few posters the right to demand it be taken somewhere else, or that something is over the line or that something is rude. But see, I'm thinking if you have this committee thing you guys won't have to keep explaining the "six year thing" to the newbies.

Gosh, I hope this post is not rude or over the line. If it is I guess I'll just have to be "the soup".

Well, that's just RUDE! :1chirol_r

Seriously, make what you want of the six-year-thing ... the fact remains some of us have been friends a long time, and we have avoided long-term board wars amongst ourselves and some have even gotten to know each other fairly well ... there's nothing wrong with that, in my opinion, and one thing's for sure: you won't see us feuding to the point that photos are morphed and boards are attacked - and closed down - as a result of our actions. We don't bother anybody (but each other once in awhile) and if we comment on occasion about the things that have changed over the years, so what? We pretty much do it here - at TRS - because we have a shared history with each other, and with TRB as a board ...

I'm not getting in between Zil and Double-T because I like them both and I don't doubt that one way or another this will work out in the long term ... it's between them, as far as I'm concerned, and they're grownups and will deal with whatever is bugging them - or they won't ... won't matter either way, I'll continue to share space with them both. (wavin at the both of ya)

One of the things that's best about TRS is that there IS no committee and that mostly anything goes (short of the illegal, and as long as it falls within service agreements, etc) and now, with the improvements, it's certainly big enough for everybody ...

I've got no beef with you peeep, I've even had fun with you in chat, but if it appears to you that some have drawn the wagons into a smaller circle for awhile, maybe it has more to do with the shock of the last week's events, rather than anything personal ... everybody has a right to deal with things however they choose - it's the fringe benefit of hanging out at TRB and now TRS ... Ross is a committee of one, and that suits everybody just fine, I think.

I loves ya, fopster ... even though I have no clue what a cwch is, I'll gladly give ya one if it's what you require ... har

Sandy, it's all 6 of 1, half dozen of another, as far as I'm concerned ... the connections, the inter-connections, the phony IDs, the newly created personalities time and time again, it is virtually impossible for those not involved to have a clue whether those "responsible" are here or not ... so I would guess that, just like in RL, people tend to treat peripheral people as potentially involved, whether it's fair and true, or not .. human nature - when ugly things happen, we tend to want to stick with those with whom we have developed a sense of trust and community, and to avoid interacting with the people and things we are unsure of ... I would imagine that as things settle down again, and some time has passed, that will ease again ... it's all a constant ebb and flow, anyway ...

I'm not really sure what precipitated peeep's involvement in this thread, but I know it was her presence and her comments here that precipitated my own.

And then, I had to come back, because fop wanted to borrow some consonants ... and now I'm going again, cuz I'm only two-thirds done workin for the day ... for now, my fun's over, I'm back on the bus ..

Stepping back to the original subject for a bit...

I've always gotten along with MeJayne pretty well. We've had a few disagreements, but nothing of merit (can't even remember what they might have been about). I know some others have a different experience with her, and that's fine. I like MeJayne.

I did read the dispute with Ross, and I don't understand why she felt she was being threatened. Ross was being slightly provocative, but backed off it real fast. Why MeJayne felt that it was an actual threat, which needed to be reported, or that Ross is a threat to her physically is a total mystery. I do hope she gets all that sorted out.

you should post where ever you like ... and about whatever you like ... so should everybody ...

and yeah, I kinda feel like the circle of wagons has tightened up a bit, but that could be my imagination - or it could be that because we've got more room to spread out here now (and an ignore function, which rocks, as well), the horizon line has moved ... there may be temporary giddiness, too, as one adjusts to the change in perspective, heh.
