So, Ross, what did santa bring you? I think you mentioned an air compressor, anything else to help keep you sane out there in the desert?
I got some speciality tools, a microwave, lots of chocolate and other little things I've already forgotten.
YEAH, GOT THAT GOOD CRAFTSMAN COMPRESSOR.
Some DVD's, that I've watched, and sold, already.
Some building materials for a project this spring.
Some cool, cross ion gel ink pens, different colors and different ink colors.
Some cash.
Some cards.
Couple of small toys for my desk.
Yeah. I'm happy. Still haven't bought my own present. Gonna buy one of those pellet guns, I think.

What are you going to build Ross?
I noticed that several people said they buy themselves a gift. Never heard of such a thing until here (and there, wherever).
Gonna build a Rainwater Cistern System, gutters to 4 inch pvc pipe to a large tank.
Materials so far, 300 feet 4 inch pipe, 200 feet of gutters, ends, 90 and 45 and 60 degree angles, adapters, blah blah blah, to the tune of about 800 bucks.
Still need the tank, and I'm sure I'll need some other stuff, too.

cross ion gel ink pens
What are they?
My son is in art school and I am curious if this is something that would benefit him?
Nothing. Just a cool pen. I like cool pens. Kind of a collector.
I got 4 of them, different colors.
Just do a google search, you'll see.
I like the gel ink. It's fast and easy to write with.

Ok, so it's not a special art pen? Just a writing pen?
Are they really as fat and short as they look in the images I saw?
If they are I might get some for my wife. She has arthuritis and needs large diameter pens to grip better with.
Thanks.

Hmmm... I am now getting the impression that these are expensive pens? Are they?
Hmmm.. looks like about $20 for one. That ain't cheap. :eek
They are fat and short. And gel pens write easy. And cool looking. And expensive.

Check out www.thewritersedge.com. (http://www.thewritersedge.com.) Great customer service. Unbelievable, actually.
Look at the Retro 51 Big Shot and the whole Core lines. If you have big hands, the Retro 51 will be too small, but it's the best-balanced, most comfortable "nice" pen (for work) that I've found. The Cores are real fat and very light weight. I have two different models. Never liked rollerballs before, since everyone I tried, the ink got shitty real fast. Not so, with the refills on these.
It's just a thought, if you're into pens. I have them everywhere.

I bought a 20 pack box of what are called "BIC" pens. They have this black ink and plastic shell it's really kewl. The 20 of them cost me about 97 cents. If you want to make them fatter all you have to do is tape rolled up paper around them, sorta like I do my glasses to keep them from rubbing my sensitive skin :rollin
