Sudden Influx of Newbies at OTWA?

Is it me, or does there seem to be a sudden influx of newbies at OTWA lately? The latest one:this is kewl. hope to learn more but scared to death atfer reading some things here. :rolleyes

Newbies are fine, as long as they take the time to LEARN BY READING before they go off on some 'you ought to...' tangent concerning board etiquette or how someone else should be treated.

Probably summer boredom. Wait till school starts back up. Why would some school kid want to join an OAI board? Talk about boredom! :D I don't know, Mike, it kind of looks to me like they are "being sent". I could be totally wrong, but it seems coincidental that there are so many lately.

I'm all for new posters and OTWA supporters, but I do have my doubts about some of the ones who are showing up all of a sudden.

Kailin, I wasn't including you as one of the newbies. I think everyone knows who you are by now. I do think there's at least one former AE'er who is posting here at TRB under a name other than the one we would all recognize him/her as. I can't understand why people choose to do that.

You're right there are lots of newbies over at OTWA.
Every other thread is someone introducing themselves but how many stay is another thing.
