Yep, aside from Hellville and Durham (Armpit), NC rocks! :)

(aside from being hideously hot and humid right now.)

I used to travel with a regional band that played Fayetteville ... The Mug I think it was called?? Still there if anyone knows?

The MUG! I remember it well!
Alas, it is gone, along with most of the other
infamous bars. The 500 block of Hay St,
where the cops and MPs walked in pairs..
bulldozed.

Course, new bars sprouted...

Aw, what a drag. Fun times those were. I cain't believe I pulled the Mug outta my brain. I vaguely remember it as a rockin' club - but what a sausage fest! I prit near had to have an escort from one of the guys to even go pee. :1eek2: I think that was the place where it was always military dudes against the hair farmers.
