I see that you are well into your twentieth page and even that one is getting full. I'm not sure if ezboard still does the normal dump, but you may want to consider moving/archiving.
Cheers~!

Yea - and you can start with this ass kissing thread : p077.ezboard.com/fross982...3930.topic (http://p077.ezboard.com/fross98289ross.showMessage?topicID=3930.topic)

I didn't know Ross had his own crowd warmer. ( Isn't that what the person is called who warms up the crowd before a talk show/comedy show, etc.?)
I have him on ignore, so I'll just check in with this thread. :lol
It's been hotter than a witch's tit in a brass bra in August here - temps in the high 90's with 95% humidity. Heat index of 105-110 and the temps at night are only going down to the low 80's.
Swimming pool feels like bath water. Can't even cool off by taking a dip. :tantrum

Know exactly what you mean! Been running the AC for 48 hours continuous now - even at night, and run an auxillary AC unit as well during the hottest part of the day. Freaking electric bill will probably be way into triple digits this month! :tantrum :tantrum :tantrum

Jacksonville 19th Sweatiest City In U.S.
POSTED: 5:36 pm EDT June 16, 2005
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Old Spice released its fourth-annual list of the top 100 sweatiest cities in the United States Thursday, and Jacksonville was once again ranked in the top 25.

TOP 25 SWEATIEST CITIES IN AMERICA
According to Old Spice, these are the sweatiest cities in the United States:
1. Phoenix
2. Las Vegas
3. Tucson, Ariz.
4. Miami
5. Corpus Christi, Texas
6. West Palm Beach, Fla.
7. Houston
8. Tampa, Fla.
9. Orlando, Fla.
10. Fort Myers, Fla.
11. San Antonio
12. Honolulu
13. Dallas
14. Montgomery, Ala.
15. New Orleans
16. Mobile, Ala.
17. Baton Rouge, La.
18. Waco, Texas
19. Jacksonville, Fla.
20. El Paso, Texas
21. Austin, Texas
22. Charleston, W.V.
23. Fresno, Calif.
24. Savannah, Ga.
25. Shreveport, La.

Last year, Jacksonville was the 23rd sweatiest city, dropping two spots from No. 21 in 2003.
Jacksonville may be the 19th sweatiest city, but when it comes to Florida cities, Miami, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando and Fort Myers were all ranked higher.
Those five Florida cities ranked in the top 10. Miami is the sweatiest at No. 4, while West Palm Beach is ranked sixth. Tampa, Orlando and Fort Myers ranked Nos. 8, 9 and 10, respectively.
Phoenix, Las Vegas, Tucson, Ariz., Corpus Christi, Texas, and Houston round out the rest of the top 10.

There is something terribly wrong with that list, when Atlanta is not even in the top 25 sweatiest cities. I guarantee you, we sweat as much or more (and for more months/year) than anyone in the top 25 listed!

Really. Where is Jackson, Mississippi? Some of those cities at least have low humidity or a sea breeze. We're just sticky.

Hmmmm...
I guess they've never been to Granite City, as well as Atlanta. Rumor has it, we've poked our own special hole in the ozone here on the Eastside.... :eek

I would think the fatass stalker psychopath toospooky/lilybongwater from ebay/the attic would spit more dirty filthy vile sweat from Atlanta than the entire population combined. I protest the rankings. Georgia is numero uno.

Yep, it's HOT here in NE Florida!
Freaking electric bill will probably be way into triple digits this month!
Dang, Mike! Do you have FP&L or JEA? Our electric bill is ALWAYS in the triple digits -even in the winter! Of course, EVERYTHING - including our water - is electric, plus we run a swimming pool pump for 6-8 hours a day.
Left out Albuquerque. HMM..

We have JEA, Dale. Not sure what the usual bill is, probably in the 100-175 range, I just expect it to be much higher this month, probably 250-300 range.

OUCH! on the power bill. The only time my bill was anywhere that high was when the compressor was going at the other house. Heat pump unit at Christmas time with a newborn in the house. *sigh* We had to use the auxiliary/emergency heat for a week, until the new compressor came in.
Since moving to the new(to us, house is actually much older than our previous home), BIGGER house, and no longer with the electric co-op, our bills are MUCH less (about 20% cheaper to heat/cool about 800 additional sq ft). Highest bill so far was for $185 when the sump pump was going wacko.

I can certainly vouch for the wonderful weather in southern arizona. I finally got my pictures uploaded today, and here are just a few...

And because some people would like to see proof that temperatures were between 102 and 111, I took this picture while taking a break from the sun where the "abc 15" channel included the current temperature in the bottom right of the television... 107:

Nice pictures, Bliss. :)
I really like that first one. What kind of plant/flowers are those red ones?

Unfortunately, I should've taken the picture of those flowers a few days prior when they were in full bloom. I didn't have my camera at the time but did have it the day I shot those you see. They're very droopy and are over matured. I have been told that they are called "bird of paradise". When I stated that Hawaii had one called that which was TOTALLY different, was told that this is what they were called here in Arizona. I have a couple of others, let me see if I can still access my host.

...even if past their prime, the "bird of paradise" is lovely. I'd love to see the other pics whenever you can get to them. With your consent, I might try a painting of them. Thank you. :)

I've uploaded my other two pictures of the "bird of paradise":
<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/javadotcup/BLISS06F.jpg>

I really like nature's finest things. So many times they are taken for granted and I like to stop and marvel in it. My more favourable cactus is the (okay, here I go) sirrorrow(sp) seen below. A lot of people wouldn't have guessed that these cactuses bloom too and I was lucky to witness it:
<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/javadotcup/BLISS06H.jpg>
<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/javadotcup/BLISS06I.jpg>
Here is another catcus in full bloom. Those yellow flowers are used for making jelly:

Here is a close up:
<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/javadotcup/BLISS06K.jpg>
On the drive infront of the house, I spotted this guy:
<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/javadotcup/BLISS06L.jpg>
I know now where the Arizona Diamond Back, got their name.
PS: I just see that I uploaded the wrong picture of the rattlesnake. I'll upload the better one in my next post.

I can tell you though, the actual flower is bright orange on the top and fades to a deep red at the bottom, which is very hard to tell by my "over-aged" photos.

I've been spending most of my time in the pool lately!

nice cacti-pics...
i had a cactus in my window out in calif. - only bloomed once every ten years - which i didn't know - until one day - it suddenly did - real nice little one - i believe it was called a - "star cactus" - the flower was beautiful...

'scuse the double post...
i just found a pic of one - this shows the shape of the flower - although - these cactus are slightly different - (the shape of the one i had was rounder and squatter - and - the flower was more colorful than this - though the petals of the flower - were shaped like this - hence the name - "star cactus")...
