Ross,
Please enable some kind of chat here.
I'm so disgusted with ezBoard, I think my temple is going to explode and blow my brains all over the wall. :1rotfl2:
Peace,
Sadie

Rossie hear thy children call
Humbly at thy feet we fall
Prodigal confessing all
We beseech thee
Hear us!

Well I read up on this chat.
The freebie one is not good. Last night we had lots of fun, but for a moderator it is just too wild. You have no control.
In order to get the things you want, you have to upgrade and the costs range from 75.00 to 130.00 a year.
Anyway, just thought you might like to know Ross.

Sigma chat's free version works for most everybody, you can attach a user database to it for verification, and even the free version has the ability to tell you how many people are in chat at the moment.
I have an add-on working with phpbb and simpleboard, but I'll try to get one working for Ross and send it to him if he wants to use it.

I've been using a free chat room at chatzy.com for the OTWA cookbook committee meetings. Seems to be stable (though we haven't had more than 5 or 6 people in it) and bug-free as far as I can tell.

Thanks, Katie! Unfortunately, after I got there, I had computer issues and didn't get to stay. Next time, though. :)

Oh, good. Not that you had computer issues, but that it wasn't anything we did to run you off.

I've been using SigmaChat for about 3 years now. I do use the paid version. It's tied to my UBBthreads membership, and verifies identity before allowing chatters to login. It's been worth every penny to be able to have strong admin controls.
If Dave can set up the free version to do the same, you should go for it, Ross! Otherwise, take up another collection. The paid version isn't that expensive.

I liked the sigma chat. We had a lot of laughs. It comes with sound too.
I am considering paying for the upgraded version. :1clap3:
