Other boards are reporting the same thing, Ross. I'd post a note in the Support Forum (http://p079.ezboard.com/fezboardfrm87).
I reported it.

They wiped out our chest at the Icehole also.
I reported it, but....
Reported it again, in my own topic, rather than a reply to someone else's

Ezboards won't let me post a message to your thread Ross. Our community chest also was wiped clean.

All records of both contributions and payments to ezboard on TRB Community Chest after January 2004 are gone. The same information is missing from the Deli community chest.
The only activity in the Ghost Town Community chest is "Purchased "Gold Trial" for $0.00" today.

Yes. I reported it, but it's about three pages down in the Support threads now. Sigh.
I'm going to wait until the dust settles and then see what needs to be reported again.

and now TRB membership number has dropped to (ironically) 666. The correct number (991) was displayed earlier today - I've been watching it climb the past few weeks, planning to throw some confetti Ross's way when it reached the big 1K mark.

Wow... came home to find TimeFor with no posts left. It looks like someone donated to the Community Chest in my absence, and I have no idea who it was, so I have now renewed it, and hope that it doesn't get lost along the way.

I saw a comment in the Help forums this morning that was troubling. Apparently some of the error pages people were getting had the words "bank account" buried in them. Also, did anyone get an error message with the words "ezdude" in it?

We only lost $10 that I recall..I had just renewed a couple of weeks ago. We're still showing full gold status. I won't get on them about the money for a bit, I figure they've got their hands full enough as it is!

Well, poop. While everyone else had Community Chests that were disappearing, it seems it was also a glitch that TimeFor's chest got a boost in funds. We are back to being due.

One reference forum on one of my boards lost 50% of its threads. The remaining threads were restored as of March 2003. At the point where they were restored the threads weren't even completely formatted as yet. They were works in progress. Needless to say that is more than a bit out of date as I know I updated them earlier this month (May) as I have every month since they were first posted in 2003.
The other forums which were not nearly as important managed to survive intact. Murphy is breeding here.
I guess I will sit back and wait and see if I need to invest another 70 hours or so in recreating those missing threads.
Another of my boards can't be managed as I get the white error screen and there was the ezdude name right there, in the first line of a wall of error messages.
I'm almost afraid to look at the other boards.

SWB, someone posted to the Bug Base that their Community Chest numbers keep disappearing and reappearing. Which leads them to believe that the information is still there.
It is stated such information is on anounther server and wil be restored.

This is reported form other boards:"Dear Ezboard Family,
On Tuesday May 31 ezboard's systems were the victim of a very precise and malicious internet attack. This attack resulted in the loss of a significant amount of current and historical board postings and interrupted services across all systems. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused and am here to give you the first of several in-depth updates.
At this time most board management services have been restored and our goal is to have post/reply repaired on Wednesday . We are working to restore board data from our back-up systems. This will take some time, and complete data restoration may not be possible, but it is what we are working towards. What we know now is that the attacker deleted current board and back-up data. We are taking the fastest route to restore data, but it may take up to 48 hours to get data back to approximately 9,000 boards. A more manual method requiring upwards of seven to ten days is required to restore data to the other boards that lost data. Regrettably we may not be able to restore data to all boards that lost data.
Second to restoring board data we are gathering information on how the attacker went about his or her business and what evidence was left behind. We are using this information to reduce the opportunity for future attackers as we build our new release. Should you hear or read anything about this attack we would love to know about it at legal@ezboard.com.
You should be aware that there is no evidence that personal information was touched. There was also no opportunity to see or download credit card information as ezboard does not keep credit card numbers on file.
Again, I apologize to you for any inconvenience caused as we value your participation on ezboard today and as we move towards an exciting - and more robust - version of the experience. We are working to restore your systems as fast as possible. Gold Board managers will be receiving information on GB subscription credits in the next few days.
We we keep you updated as the restoration progresses.
Sincerely,
Rob
