Check your PayPal accounts if you have made ATM withdrawals in the past two days. I withdrew $80 yesterday and my account says I took another $80 out of my account today which has now put my account in the negative because I had cleared out all but $6.00 yesterday. It would have been impossible to make an ATM transaction for $80 today because the account only had $6.00 in it, but the withdrawal has gone through! What's funny is the *real* transaction(from 9/1) is showing as Pending and the incorrect transaction(9/2) is showing as Completed.

I spent an hour on the phone with PayPal tonight and was told by one rep that they have several Debt card holders who have had the same thing happen to them today some in the hundred dollar range throwing their accounts into the negative, the withdrawals just keep posting to their accounts. I am still trying to get mine resolved and may not be able to contact them until tomorrow. I can't sit on the phone for hours tonight.

Not good. Just a heads up.

You can post this on other boards if you want to. I don't visit any others but it might be nice to warn those who don't come here (which I can't imagine who WOULDN'T want to come here! LOL!)

Well, after 2 hours of holding...the problem was fixed in 2 minutes!

PayPal's Customer Service is very nice but under-powered.

Just keep an eye on your accounts if you use your PayPal Debt cards for ATM transactions. They say a supposed update to their system caused the glitch.

Now, off to bed for me!

I finally got a debit card last month and transferred a large chunk from my checking to it on August 30th, for the upcoming moving expenses.....

....funny thing is the bank shows PayPal GOT the money zapped to them on Sept. 1st, but PP shows that it isn't "expected to clear" until Sept. 6th and that money is now "in limbo" until PP hits the right button after Labor Day.

SIX FREAKIN' DAYS to transfer CA$H!???! The rat bastards are still working the float every chance they get! :1madrealm
