I had dinner last week with some RL friends and a poster from TCW. Explaining the "board war" crap to the non-board people was almost other-wordly - it really brought it home to me just how vapid, childish and pathetic are the board biddies, with their ridiculous disputes, their impassioned denunciations over nothing, and their need-to-belong-to-any-clan-that-will-have-me bullshit.

Then, before posting here today, I read at a couple of boards for the first time in almost two weeks, and I had to shake my head at the inanity of it all. It's remarkable, really, the perspective that a little time away and an intense re-engagement with the vibrant joys of life can give you.

I have explained message boards to them. One guy is into the band Tesla, and I told him there was a whole Tesla board, where he posts now. That sort of thing. But board wars I've been involved in? Jesus.

I'm glad he got to go out of his house and talk to some real people for a change. Maybe he'll do it more often now and leave the rest of us alone.

For someone who suddenly finds the "board wars" so distasteful, he sure didn't waste any time getting back to it and bashing others who haven't even been talking about him anywhere. :1headspin

His "me too" Dollbaby apparently is unable to view the rest of the Crank Shaft, where he has repeatedly bashed people for their posts on other boards, posts that had nothing to do with him or his board. They must have a contagious form of short-term memory loss over there. Let's hope it stays confined to that board.

Chops, I don't think we need this forum any longer. It was put to very good use imo, and we thank you for it.

We proved several things about several people here. I would call this forum a success, but it is no longer necessary. It had become nothing more than meaningless repetition, and who has time for that?

I find this request by whale absolutley HILARIOUS! If you had followed those threads you would have seen that it was her and her "friends" that made complete asses out of themselves.
Translation........the REAL reason for the removal request... oh and the fact that she and her "friends" are worried that other's on a new EZ board that has been started will get wind of how they REALLY are.

To clarify, I don't believe I've posted on TCW any more than that, in the past few months, and I'm pretty sure this is one of the first times I've even posted to a CW thread here, and certainly I've never started one, so how it amounts to endless is something cooked up in your abditive, vapid little head.
