Before fans of the renowned comic and cartoonist get too excited, it should be quickly noted that it will be reruns of "Calvin and Hobbes" that newspapers can publish from Sept. 4 to Dec. 31.

Well, shit. It didn't cross my mind that it might be a repeat of vintage strips.

On the bright side, if enough newspapers print the reruns, maybe it will inspire some new material for future release. ;)

I wish, Ed, but he quit when the strip was still in it's prime and making him big $, so I don't think he will be doing it anymore.
It certaintly hasn't lost it's popularity.
