Hmmmmm. I read that board nearly every day, and my (new, updated) Norton has picked up absolutely nothing.

Alan is far from knowledgeable about computers ... he once accidentally deleted all of TCW's emoticons, and he couldn't even figure out how to download the new AIM program last year. However, I don't think this claim is a mistake on his part, but rather just another of his vindictive lies.

He must be getting very desperate. He has claimed (lied) so many times through the years that every single website, forum, board, webpage, etc. I have anything to do with is infected with "viruses". He used to take advantage of naive, new-to-computer folks who wouldn't bother questioning him.... but, like, that's already been exposed, many times, Alan's absurd claims, and, now he's pulling this old trick back out of the hat? Who is left to believe him?

Just for the happen chance Alan isn't making this up (like he has so many times before), if he got a virus while a browser window was viewing the auction watch, that doesn't mean he got the virus from there--most people have several browser windows open at the same time, therefore it could have come from the porn he was looking at, or some creepy google stalk search he was conducting, or whatever else he was doing in addition to feverishly viewing a board he claimed he never visited.

For his own good I think he should be banned though, he seems to have all sorts of malicious trojan horse, tracker, virus, and "infestation" problems everytime he visits any of my sites! If he cannot exercise the self-control to stay away, and if all these "viruses" I keep "sending him" can't keep him away, banning seems the only option that might work!
