I have to join in to correct a medical misunderstanding. Used tampons don't smell. Tampons have to be exposed to air quite a long time to develop any sort of bad odor to them. If you're going to hang them in your workplace around your desk for a few days, you'll notice a definite odor.
However, that says a lot more about you than it does about tampons. A fetish, at the very least.
