How do I use a personal avatar with my posts?

You can either pick one from the general ones Ross has and then he'll move it over to the ones that are being used, or you can post the one you want and he'll upload it so you can use it.

As usual, I need more computer information. I picked one of the kitties, put a red dot in it and nothing happened. What do I do next, please?

Hmmmm, it should be a green dot in the circle after you choose it. Try clicking on it again and see what happens. It should show up at the top of the avatar list as "My current avatar" or something like that, after you choose it.

Also, make sure the button for "Do not use an avatar" is UNchecked. It's at the top of the avatar list, too.
