Thought it would be cool; while we are bragging about our home states; to expand to where all we have been too!

I have been to 45 of the states....still missing Alaska, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, & Vermont. (The new home in upstate NY should make 4 of those easy to hit in the near future. ;) )

Have hit Canada....Toronto, Windsor, & Vancouver....and will be living about 1-1/2 hours from Montreal in a few weeks.

Been to Mexico...well, what I can remember of Tiajuana anyway. :1bong:

Two trips to Europe included: England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, and Holland. Would be happy to just spend six months Eurailing around the whole continent sometime. :1clap3:

Always wanted to see Australia....and someday....someday.....maybe South America too.

:1liar2: So.....where all have YOU been???

I'm so UNtravelled, it's embarrassing! I have been to Canada a handful of times(I live in northern WA, so it's only a 2hr drive there), Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and California. So basically the pacific northwest is the extent of my travels! When I marry my S/O though, we are going to be married in Ireland(we have been saving for a few years now) and will "honeymoon" in Tailand. With so many kids, we have found it hard to travel too much, but hopefully when all of the kids are grown and out of the house we will be able to buy a motorhome and live the "American dream" of old age....;)

Heck, I haven't been too many places either. The only time I left the US was to go to Montreal, Canada.

I made a map of states for myself and each of my kids. Here's mine:

Anyone who wants to can right-click and save the map, then use your photo editor to flood-fill the states you have been to. :)

Of the contiguous 48, I'm pretty sure I've at least driven through all of them except North Dakota.

I've been to Hawaii, but not Alaska.

I've lived in NY, CA, FL, OH, NJ, and WA.

Outside the U.S., not so much. Canada (as a kid), Mexico, Paris, and London. Oh, yeah. And the People's Republic of Berkeley. :D

Peace,
Sadie

Sadie, if you don't mind me asking, what part of WA do you live in? I'm about 1 1/2 north of Seattle in a little town called Stanwood.

And what part of Ohio too, Sadie??? Being an ex-Buckeye, just gotta know.

Can't believe I spent Christmas and New Years' of 1992 in San Juan and forgot to list Puerto Rico! duh!

In the U.S. I've been to:
http://home.comcast.net/~powrhouse/wsb/media/62280/site1146.JPG

As well as Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canada between New York and Michigan.

Other places I've been have included: The Azores, Italy, Spain, France, Monaco, Turkey, Bahrain, and probably some other countries I've managed to forget.

Countries I've not been to but have blown up parts of : Bosnia, Iraq, and Afganistan.

Go Navy! ;) :1micio1:

I'm in Roslyn. Some of the old Northern Exposure buildings still look like they did in the show.

Kenny, I lived in Toledo for a year following my divorce. Perfect place to get a divorce (painless), and even though I wouldn't choose to live there forever, I had no major complaints about Toledo. I had my only major surgery in my life there (needed to use exhubby's insurance while I still could) and my doctor and the hospital staff were awesome! It's tough to find a good pizza there, but I did find a passable one that did a 'Greek' pizza and had a two-fer deal that kept me in pizza for days on end for very little money.

Peace.

Oh.....Toledo is only "kinda" in Ohio....most of us always considered it some kind of suburb of Detroit rather than something belonging to the Buckeyes. :1rotfl2:

But at least they gave us Jamie Farr!
