They're both ridiculous accounts of the police over-reaching their authority. I'd wager there are lots of similar stories all over the U.S. and Europe.

if you are young - watch out...

about ten to fifteen years ago it became common practice of many police officers to slap a resisting arrest charge on young people if they so much as blinked along with whatever other charge they gave out...

these days it's becoming more and more common to attach a terrroristic threat charge on a drunk and disorderly...

- or whatever else...
