It's on CBS right now. West coasties, watch it if you can. It's an awesome hour of music, even if you aren't a C&W fan.

Thanks but no thanks. Never did like him and I can't stand C&W music.

Caught the last half hour or so of it...of course, U2 did a song, but the little duet with David Grohl and Kris Kristofferson was fun. Johnny would have liked that. All in all, very nice.

My dad liked Johnny Cash. I'm not a fan of C&W music at all. But I did like Cash's version of Hurt.

I thought the first half was the best. Nora Jones was awesome, and U2. It had people from all genres singing the songs, so a lot of it didn't sound country. I'm not a big country fan myself, but I like some of the old stuff. Jerry Lee Lewis can still sing and pound the piano, but I think he's in a wheelchair now.

Johnny Cash. What a talent, what a performer. Yeah. Love his work.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie. I am certainly not a country fan but Johnny Cash was played often at home when I was growing up and I do like quite a bit of his work.

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like Cash. But, you know it's weird, I like Willie Nelson. LOL He's old, he's little, but there's just something about him.

I'm looking forward to the movie "Walk The Line". I think it will be a great eye opening for all music lovers, whatever genre. Reese Witherspoon has really been an up and coming actress in her own right and I understand that they are singing their own parts in the movie.

Johnny's favorite song of mine came out not long before he passed, "Personal Jesus" is what I believe it was called. Super song. It's a remake, but a great song.

Depeche Mode did the original. Younger kitten is a fan of DM and you should have seen his face when he heard Cash's remake!

there are lots of art forms I don't much care for, choco. C&W being one of them. but, as with every art, there are classics that rise above the rest that make that certain art form just a little more tolerable. with C&W Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson are certainly classic.

Yeah. Alot of country music I can't stand, but Cash had a different style than most in his day. I think they called it "Rock-a-billy" back then.

Hank Williams had a unique style also.

I had Hank Williams in mind too, micro. and of course we can't leave out Patsy Cline!
