I just got a PM manifesto from Chriffer.

She said Toyranch refused to admit her to HIS board.

Now, as far as I know I am a GUEST at Toyranch's board. It is not my board, but because of that board, she's leaving this board.

Is this all because she started drinking again a couple days ago?

We had 2 drinks apiece. Done. We talked about it...alcohol. We came to the conclusion that there will be NO ALCOHOL in the house whatsoever....we have kids at an impressionable age and don't want to be poor role models.

Regarding my abstinence over the last 2 weeks, the beer I had tonight was WONDERFUL! It tasted SOOOO good! It wasn't the buzz that was good, it was savoring the home brewed taste. I was totally sated with 2.

M-O-D-E-R-A-T-I-O-N

As a result, my husband and I actually agreed on something. WOW. Who would have thought?

I am happy with this decision. I am content. I will allow myself an occasional drink, but not go overboard. This was a needed break to get perspective.

Ahh...yes. I am content.

Here it is:

TIme for me to go I guess

TR approved my membership for chat, then promptly renigged.

I had to PM what was up. He said that some people were 'uncomfortable' having me in chat.

Ok...whatever.

I won't start some weird manifesto thread, just delete my membership.

Thanks Ross...was good while it lasted.

Goodness, Julia.
This board had nothing to do with the other board.
If you liked it here and had fun here, it seems silly for you to leave.

I don't know anything about that, but the word is RENEGED, not "renigged." Serious pet peeve of mine.

This is what I told her:

What I heard from others is that they are not comfortable posting with you in an intimate setting (like private chat). I think a lot of it has to do with the "Chriffer" thing and some of your posts on the old AE. I know that you are being a lot more forthcoming with the "real you" these days, and I hope that more of that will lead to a greater level of acceptance. I would like to invite you again, at some point, and I congratulate the real Juliatheena for coming out and sharing yourself.

Good fucking grief. I'm not FUCKING DRUNK! Just got my feelings hurt, that's all.

First I'm approved, then denied with no explination.

Ross? Thanks for letting me VOICE MY OWN OPINION FIRST before plastering it all over here. And yes...MODERATION is the key to EVERYTHING...not just drinking.

TR made it sound like the chat room was affiliated with THIS board. That's all.

SORRY I MADE SUCH AN ERROR.....like no one here is above error.

Shit.

First I'm approved, then denied with no explination.

Yes, as I told you, I sent you a PM through EzBoard. It got eaten by EzBoard and wasn't in my outbox.

TR made it sound like the chat room was affiliated with THIS board. That's all.

How did I do that?

Oh, and forgot to add....

There is NO alcohol in this house. Period. That is the decision that my husband and I agreed on. We will only have an occasional drink when we go out by ourselves.

I made a promise to my boys. I'm not one to renege on a promise like that. NO way.

Whatever TR....just forget it.

I should have said, "some people HERE" instead of TR....

Excuse my error. I humbly and graciously apologize.

Bobby, FWIW, I appreciate the effort you're making with the new chatboard. I don't chat much, and a lot of the reason for that is because I never know who's going to be in the chat room.

Juliatheena-
Glad that you and spouse agreed on the no-liquor-in-house policy. That's great for the kids, and I think you guys will be able to maintain it.

Thank you so much for your reply. And yes, it's the best thing we could do for our kids.
