:o You are just too much and that is such a beautiful piece.
Do me a favor tho.....go ahead and put up the purple one like you were planning.....but donate the proceeds from one of those auctions to a disaster relief agency like Red Cross or Salvation Army to help them help the people to the west of me that have lost everything thanks to Katrina. After going thru Ivan last year, I know all too well how much just one hot meal from one of their canteen trucks can mean at finding a little glimmer of hope again amid the devastation.
I appreciate the help and with gas jumping like crazy, a little extra would be a help with the truck expense.....but others need it too right now and I would like to share your generosity with them. :1hug1:

I went over to look at this and it says its been removed (by e-bay, I'm sure)? What happened? Is E-Z board involved with E-bay, too? :irollers2 I hope everything is going smoothly, and this is just a glitch.

Not a recognised charity.
I will relist it without mention, and you all can just understand that there will be no shipping, okay?

I had in my listing (as I have had in all my listings)
"Check out my store listings for great bargains in pressed glass, crystal and
lamp bead items. Since I save on listing fees, you save on beads! Art glass
earring charms, millefiore donuts, butterfly charms and more!"
and they said it was shut down for that also.

Whoever turned me in was a dirty dog ... and I HATE to think of who that could have been. At least they left Gaffan's auctions alone.
bb - really - that's crap - whoever did that...
question concerning your other auctions: are you doing this like you did before...? if we bid on any of the others - can they also go for packyrat...? or does he want them to go to new orleans...? i'm a little bit confused - but that's okay - as long as it goes somewhere good anyway...

I am taking most of my store stuff down and will relist them this weekend. I am earmarking a certain portion of my sales for New Orleans, don't worry about that. But I still think Ken deserves our help.

Well, somebody definitely reported it - and that is shitty. A little jealousy that people didn't run auctions to help you? Maybe if you weren't such a petty lowlife loser as to run and play eBay cop on something like this - someone would have.
That's a beautiful piece, Sandy. I wish I had the money to spend, because I'd be bidding on it myself.
Kenny...you are a pretty seriously good person, you know? I'm glad to know you.

Whoever turned me in was a dirty dog There's another nasty netcop who's been trying his damnedest to get this board closed since the day it opened, someone who has seethed with jealousy over the success here. With everything going on lately, I can't help but think it was that whiner who reported Sandy. He lives for that kind of crap.
:1evil3:
okay thanks bb - i'll take a look at them - (and probably bid on some) - over the weekend... :)

To Be Fair, They may have been searching out scam auctions purporting to benefit victims of Katrina. All sorts of scams going on around that, I suppose. And I just got caught.

Thanks--it is good to hear that. I get so frustrated sometimes because I want to create and I feel so amateurish sometimes.
The bracelet is gorgeous! Can't wait to see the necklace. Please make a purple bracelet for a small wrist & let me know when you list it, I will get it for my daughter for Christmas. Thanks,
:1neko5:

Sandy, you are one of the more talented designers I have seen of late. I always know that I will get high quality beads and components from you, as well. Don't let your inner voice get you frustrated....you are one of the best.
I teach beading at Scottsdale Bead Supply here in town and so many people struggle with the design aspect. You have a great eye for design, and it shows! :1clap3:
Let me tell you about the crappy and amateurish stuff that I see in shows here....makes me crazy. I had a conversation one day with a lady that didn't think crimping properly made any difference and I was nuts to worry about workmanship...mostly because the customer doesn't know anything about it anyhow. Grrr.
Hugs,
Mary

What I really want to do is work with metal--soldering, etc. No place to use a torch. I am however, saving all my spare change in a jar (well, okay, I had to empty the jar when I was sick but it is piling up again) so I can buy a small kiln to use precious metal clay.
Kate, can you PM me about the bracelet? I have a couple of questions to ask you.
