I'm calling time on the fighting

because of the situation in New Orleans.

The mayor says that thousands may be dead. One of The Car Wash's own members, our friend Dan (imrightyourwrong), is a resident of the city. We have not heard from him, and we do not know if he is all right.

This is no time for board squabbles. I know we all hope and pray that Dan is safe somewhere. I cannot bear to think of the many hundreds, thousands, who did not survive this catastrophe.

I've been trying to reach my dear friend, Skip. I've been downloading the different overlays at google earth, and it looks like his house is right on the very edge of the flooding.

Skip, also known as NOLA on eBay

He's been a good friend for a long time, I've known him for 20 years.

Okey-Dokey, must only be for fighting on his own board. He posted that at(8/31/05 12:17 pm)

But over on PCFree he was still posting shit at 8/31/05 4:14pm.

That sounds about as sincere as when Jamie did some moratorium at his place "because of 9-11" of some such horseshit.

Right, that sociopath being moved by human suffering. :1rotflmao

I bet a hundred bucks, he got his notice from ezboard about his board's closure, and posted that.

I won't take that bet, because it's just too obvious that that's exactly what he did. He was getting his butt kicked, too, so of course he wants a time out.
