What a freaking loser...reminds me of the guy that thought it was fun to scare the little ones at Halloween. Just plain sick...

What did you find funny about it? I missed the humor in that one...and I have a very open mind. Just curious...

My sister burned Barney in effigy in her front yard at the height of his popularity. We're a sick family. Dark humor amuses us.

Now THAT is funny. Did you do it in front of a preschool?

I'm conflicted ... I think it's funny, on an adult level, but I'd never in a million years want my grandson to see it ....
So I guess I'm thinking the guy should care enough about innocent little kids who will see it and be affected by it, to at least think about what he's doing, and maybe save the hanging-Santa for the office Christmas party, or the local saloon ..

Now THAT is funny. Did you do it in front of a preschool? My niece and nephew WERE small--one a preschooler, at the time. They thought it was a hoot. The principal called them into his office to question them. They were very pulled together, however, and talked about free speech (as much as someone that age can). He sent them home. My sister refused to take it down. Apparently, it caused a stir, pro and con (many parents hated Barney) in the little town they lived in at the time.
The kids grew up to be normal humans.

Pretty much what Blooey said.
I find it hilarious, but I'm fairly protective of kids.
Sometimes it's a choice between doing exactly what we want just because we can, or considering the feelings of others. The man in the story made his choice.
Peace.

I wonder how he plans to celebrate Easter? Can I hang the three wise men in my yard? :2headspin

First Amendment Rights?
You don't say?
I posted this "Valentine" for Lady Jane at TCW a couple of years ago - with a poem I wrote just for her.
... and the entire board had a fit - claimed it was a death threat!
Oh well, no sense of humor I guess.

Maybe it was a death threat. I don't know what was in your heart.

Oh, and I didn't think I had to mention it, but maybe I will. LJ is real. Santa Claus isn't.
