There is absolutely no protocal on the internet that a message board poster must post her picture in order to be validated or believed. In fact, the consensus is, that is the wrong thing to do, especially when a vicious board of malcontents exists that will bash you to tears. Sandy didn't tell you or anyone else that she was a Playboy model. She announced that she was a grandmother, to her friends. The point is that Chump is a thief who allowed his unnatural yearning to find out anything he could about the object of his obsession to override any common decency he may once have had. He stole something that didn't belong to him, assumed that it was something other than it was, and tried in vain to spread that lie.

When I first came to ezboards, I was told that Magpie is every bit as bad as Cheese. I didn't really believe it at the time. I didn't know Magpie all that well, but I thought she didn't seem such a bad sort. But I gradually came to see the real Magpie. As Wenchie told her last year, there is nothing too low for Magpie to do. All it takes is a little time to reveal the truth of that, because she can no more veer from her true nature than can a rattlesnake.


Magpie had the integrity to come into a post and verify that a thing I was saying, and being opposed on, was, in fact, the truth. She did not have to do that (as it is true our prior relationship had been contentious) .....and yet she did. There is nothng you can say - no wedge you can attempt to drive - that will make me forget that or cease to be grateful to her for her honesty.

So she cares a great deal about Thaz - so what?? Why would you begrudge her a friendship??
