FTR, the ex is an ex-con who served time in prison years ago for selling heroin(I think, mighta been pot) to an undercover agent. & yeah, it mighta been pot. People did go to prision for selling pot in this state some yrs ago. (Perhaps still do. I have no idea)

He was guilty & never pretended differently. He was a Nam vet that returned with an ugly habit(2 in fact) that consumed 2 marriages, deprived him of 2 daughters, undermined innumerable friendships & which has rendered him impoverished as well as physically & mentally ill.

I suspect that the police know as much of this as they care to, but I will discuss it with them further if they want me to. In case they aren't aware of this, perhaps Diva will again intrude into my personal life & give them the message...

LJ, he’s (Cartman’s) really secretive about his info, and he’s used false info to register his website.

Don’t use an [eBay] account to bid yourself. I had thought that maybe you could have someone else bid on an item of his, preferably someone who lives in a different state, and then have them pay for it with a postal money order only (if he accepts that). They should treat it like a normal transaction, and don’t ever tell ANYONE where you got the contact info, not even us. In other words, do NOT tell anyone the buyer’s ID. They would be violating eBay’s policy regarding giving out another user’s contact info.

Does anyone think I’m wrong to suggest this, seriously considering how far Cartman has gone with his harrassment of LJ? Does the end justify the means here?

I was never on the rebound. I ended my marriage. I've been with my life partner for over a year and a half. Did a lot of dating after my ex and before my man now. I had no lonely period what so ever. The reason I ask this is that I learned something important about marriage and divorce from my first Philosophy professor long ago, before I was married. He had been a Franciscan monk for 30 years before he married and began teaching college, and duing the latter part he had been a practicing marriage counselor. He was a licensed psychologist, held a doctorate in Philosophy, and he had amazing insight. You could say that he thoroughly prepared before taking the plunge himself. I often referred to him as "The Renaissance Man," because he knew Latin, Greek, German, and Italian, and he excelled in many disciplines, including Logic, Mathematics, Comparative Religion, Ancient and Renaissance History, Psychology, Sociology, Political Theory, and and of course, Philosophy. He was a dear friend of the family, a counselor, a philosopher, and the most self-realized person I had ever met before my travels to India. He had a very deep understanding of human relationships, particularly marriage, and he always spoke from the perspective of realized knowledge. He is still alive and is still married to the same woman. He said many times that the bonds of love between people never can be completely severed, and that to the degree of love that ever binds two people, there will be proportionate feelings of loss, regret, and pain when they separate. Otherwise, one would have to utterly deny the very existence of this most important part of oneself that did feel love for the spouse, that such denial only could fragment the personality, and that such fragmentation would lead to delusion, and to feelings of bitterness, inadequacy, and a sense of being "out of joint" with the world. I don't think he was wrong, as many of the angry, bitter, and belligerent people we find online serve as vivid examples of this principle. In fact, the very person who has started this thread, for instance, and others of her ilk, have provided no plausible explanation for their envy and bitterness other than their own failed relationships, about which they continue to blame everyone but themselves, and with which, evidently, they never have honestly come to terms. I married very young and with little time of really knowing my spouse. 4 months from the time we met to the time of marriage. I became pregnant right away after marrying. My son was born just a little over 9 months of marriage. I'd say somewhere about the 4th month I realised I made a huge mistake and truly did not love my husband. I had some tough decisions to make as what to do.

I won't go into all the things that had to be weighed but I decided to stay. My husband was a good father, just not a good mate for me. He was gone a lot with the military so we didn't have a lot of interaction as a couple. When he was home our focus was our son, our common ground, our priority. I thought it was better for my son to have a father in his life that cared for him than to have a divorce where chances were all contact would eventually end. Had he not been a good dad I would have never chosen to stay. When my son graduated. It was then I decided what was best for me. I have not regretted that decision.

My break-up has been calm and rattional. My husband was hurt, but he said he knew I didn't love him, but was ok with it because we did what needed to be done to raise our son. Today my son and I are extremely close, he loves my partner like a father. They are good friends and he appreciate what I done for him. So art you again show how you like to blanket paople when you know nothing about them.

The topic of this thread and the discussion have nothing to do with Javanoire, but the troll Javanoire doesn't need any excuse whatsoever before barging into a thread with her own agenda.

The obscenities and libel javanoire has been spewing against Lorraine and I for 4+ years has nothing to do with "disagreement." Her conduct constitutes harassment plain and simple, and she was given plenty of opportunity to stop before her pages went up on August 25, 2006, after it was learned she had been lying to this community about the Cease & Desist and its content. She lied to the police with such sloppy disregard for the truth that her file was closed as "unfounded" and remarks were made off the record about how her story kept changing and was full of holes and contradictions. She's lied for more than half a year about these events to everyone here, at Steel Dragon, on eBay, at AW, at TFI, and anywhere else she can find a receptive ear. Some members here were smart enough to see through her lying deception, and they were publicly skewered and belligerently attacked simply for disagreeing with javanoire, the rank hypocrite. Not only did javanoire ignore the C&D, she ridiculed it and instigated others to do likewise. At Steel Dragon she has joined with others in ridiculing babes and her attorney, even accusing them of "harassment" for submitting thoughtful and respectfully worded requests that members kindly leave her out of their future "discussions." For a brief time there were apparent friendly relations, and Lorraine [Redacted] was lulled into believing javanoire’s enmity had ended. In October 2005, however, javanoire resumed her harassment of Lorraine [Redacted] without explanation, and in 2006, javanoire began publishing harassing remarks of a crude, pornographic, and sexually explicit nature, and which have been directed at Lorraine [Redacted] with the intent to demoralize and terrorize her:

If people like this can claim First Amendment protection for their libel then certainly I can claim the same protection when I merely connect their words with their true identities and publish that information. I don't see any problem.

Such willingness to exploit loved ones to further her sick online obsession means that she places more importance on getting her revenge than upon the well being of her own family. This is symptomatic of an addictive personality spiraling out of control.

My sole demand is that she never again harass my family, friends & business. I don't give a damn for anything she says or does provided she can keep her filthy presence out of my life, AWAY from me & mine. Keep us OUT of your street theater.

Javanoire's bogus harassment complaint was closed because her allegations were unfounded.

But Javanoire is guilty of harassment according to Iowa Law:

Despite undeniable documentary evidence contrary to her position, Javanoire continues to lie about the false Police report she has filed and about the content of the lawfully served Notice to Cease and Desist.

The "record" to which Javanoire is referring is the false record she has been concocting with the help of other like-minded Internet hooligans. Every statement that has been published by us concerning conversations with the police have been utterly true.

Javanoire has this exactly backwards. There's no evidence her former landlady even received any calls, but even if she had, she's told various online communities there was but one call. She lied to the Police by falsely asserting that she "didn't know us except through our websites." She lied to the Police by falsely asserting that she "frequented our jewelry board." We don't own any "jewelry board" that Javanoire could have "frequented." She lied to the Police by falsely asserting that we had posted her eBay name "java noire" in our eBay feedback. She lied to the Police by falsely asserting that we "learned of her first name from epinions.com" when she knows that information was obtained from the Carwash archives, where she had published this herself. She lied to the Police by falsely asserting we "have some mental problems." Indeed, the only person exhibiting symptons of mental instability is Javanoire, with her deranged, stalking obsession with us. She lied to the Police by falsely asserting that she did not have our telephone number or address, when it is well known that she has been passing around our contact information like candy for years. She lied to the Police by falsely asserting we had "harassed" her, when all we have done is attempt to stop her harassment of us. She lied to the Police by falsely asserting we were "getting into her computer online." She lied to the Police by first admitting that the quotes attributed to her in the lawfully served Notice to Cease and Desist were factually her statements and then falsely claiming that "they were edited."
