I was looking through it and thinking it looked like a who's-who of the OAI when I noticed that there are a lot of known ID's registered without any posts and thought that was odd. Were they put there to keep others from grabbing them from their recognised owner?

Doesn't seem much like a who's who of the OAI to me. I got up to "J" and I don't recognize probably 75% of the registered names.

Wow. I recognised probably 80% of them. I need to get out more. :D

I think this is my 3rd or 4th post since Ross opened and I'm just trying to catch up with all that's going on.

It's a little overwhelming. You all posted quite a bit in a short amount of time!

Well, the email addresses seem to match. Mike, those are people who actually signed up. No ID's are on "hold"

lol...a lot of us learned to register at any new OAI board to be sure someone didn't get our name and cause shit. I know of at least a couple of people who did just that, but haven't posted yet.

I registered quickly to make sure I got "my" name.

I'm just looking around, reading threads and trying to catch up (no easy task). Since I don't have any interest in making numerous posts to make my title change, I'll probably just remain the lowest form of life around here for a while while I read. :)

I might not contribute much here, but at least I am not using some evil sock puppet handle anymore! ;) ;)

Considering what email address I used, that is funny.

And I realize you know that email does for a fact belong to me, but it's still funny.

Does anyone know how to change an id? is it possible?

I registered this one before realizing that Emily had already registered and I don't want to cause confusion for her so I'd like to change it or delete it.

Ross, can you delete me and I'll try again?

I'm posting this smiley because I think its cute.

Gotta say this, even if it's OT.

FLVamp, you are one I have never posted with directly, but I really enjoy reading you at OTWA. I'm glad to see a few of the OTWAns come over here and hang with us. :)

(Poor Ross...probably hanging his head and wondering if I'm gonna break into a round of "I'd like to teach the world to sing..." lol The answer is no I'm not, but I don't wanna go mop floors and do dishes, dammit.)

That's one of their infestation spots of choice, Powerhouse.

The next time you hear that tumbling noise, doesn't it sound like
a rumbly stomach? Yours might be next.

I've never lost a sock in the dryer. I lost one in my sleeve once, but it turned up at the most inopportune time.

I've had them turn up in pillowcases or the corners of contour sheets. They're sneak little devils.

Awww! :o T'anks.

I only tossed my pennies at the communist TRB when I had something to add. Other peeps said what I thought, often better than I.

A closed mouth gathers no feet. Yeah, but the resulting stress from seething is not good for you. :1hug3:
