I lived in Kihei when I first moved here to Maui but have lived upcountry in Makawao for the past 4 years. I was kiheicat when I first joined the board world and everyone who knows me knows me by that name so I didn't bother changing it. :)

OMG yes. 2nd time I've been to Maui. If my DH could find a job there, we'd move ASAP.

That's cool. Hepburn is moving to Hawaii as soon as she solves the "brown people won't give me a job" problem. I wish to visit Hawaii again, too.

No she's never going to move to Hawaii and everyone that's seen the cycle knows it. She dreams something, somehow actually believes it will come to fruition, then it fizzles with a story and a rationalization thereof. To coin someone's sigline that cracked me up when I saw it: (I wish I could remember who so I could give them credit) Lather. Rinse. Repeat. ;)

Julia I had the Maui News delivered to my home in Calif for a month while I was planning my move so that I could surf the classifieds and such. Now Maui News is online he could look for jobs from the comfort of your pc. http://www.mauinews.com

Cheaper to live here than to keep spending the money to vacation here, heh
