I saw this last weekend.

It does not translate on the internet. I walked into a gallery room, and though "oh, a bunch of fairly interesting photos of San Fransisco neighborhoods, which show the beauty of the mundane"

Then I stepped closer to one, and thought it was an odd printing technique...

Then I realized they were not photos, but paintings.

Not to mention his watercolors, and charcoal drawings which look like high contrast and grainy black and white photos.

Dude sold his soul to the devil to do this. No doubt about it.

Wow. That is something. I am so fascinated by how artists learn to maipulate light and shadow to create three dimensions on a flat surface.

See the street paintings I posted, TR, you'll probably dig 'em.
